No. Every customer record is encrypted on your phone with a key derived from your password. Your password never leaves the device — we have no way to read your records. The only thing our servers see is your phone number (for OTP login) and license status.
You'll have written down a 16-word recovery phrase during setup. Type it back in to restore access. Without either the password or the phrase, the data is mathematically unrecoverable — that's the trade-off for end-to-end encryption.
Yes — adding loans, searching, closing, printing all work offline. Internet is only needed for the initial OTP sign-in, license activation, and Google Drive backup.
If you enabled Google Drive backup, install the app on a new phone, sign in with the same phone number, restore the latest backup, and enter your password. All records are back. Without backup enabled, the data on the lost phone is gone — encryption protects it, but it can't be recovered.
