Delete your account

You can permanently delete your SecurePawnSystems account at any time. Deletion is irreversible — once data is removed, it cannot be recovered. Please review what gets deleted before you proceed.

1. Option A — delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open the Pawn Broker app on your phone.
2. Sign in with your mobile number.
3. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
4. Confirm the deletion. Your account and all data are removed within seconds.

2. Option B — request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, send us an email from the mobile number's registered email address (or include your mobile number in the email body) with the subject line "Delete my account":

We verify the request by sending a one-time code to the registered mobile number, then delete the account within 7 working days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

3. What gets deleted

• Your account record (mobile number, name).
• Active sessions (you will be signed out of all devices).
• Trial and subscription status — the trial timer does not reset for re-signups from the same mobile number (this prevents abuse).
• Payment records linked to your account (order IDs, payment IDs). Payment processing data held by Razorpay follows Razorpay's own retention policy.
• Any active licence keys are revoked.

4. What is retained (and why)

• Pledge book data stored locally on your phone is encrypted and never reaches our servers, so it is not ours to delete. Uninstall the app to remove the local data, or use the in-app Wipe local data option in Settings.
• Anonymised server logs (timestamps, request counts) may be retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These cannot be tied back to you once your account is deleted.
• Backups on Google Drive (if you enabled Google Drive backup) live in your own Google account. We do not have access. Delete them from your Drive directly: drive.google.com → search "PawnBroker" → move to trash.
