Terms of service

These Terms ("Terms") govern your use of the SecurePawnSystems mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing, signing in, or paying for the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Naveen Kumawat, sole proprietor, based at Perumalla Palli, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India ("we", "our"). Contact: naveenkumawat756@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in India to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account & security

• You sign in using a mobile-number OTP. You are responsible for keeping access to that mobile number secure.
• You set a password inside the app that encrypts your records. We never see, store, or recover this password. If you lose both the password and your 16-word recovery phrase, the data is unrecoverable.
• One device per account. Signing in on a new device automatically revokes the previous session.
• You may not share your account, attempt to circumvent authentication, or use someone else's account.

4. Subscription, payment & renewal

• Free trial: 7 days from the date of your first sign-in. Full access; no card required.
• Paid plan: ₹12,000 for the first year. Renewals at ₹6,000 per year. Prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payment processor: Razorpay. We never see your card / UPI details. Razorpay's terms apply to payment processing.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription does not auto-renew. We will remind you when expiry is near; you renew manually from the app or website.
• Grace period: the app remains usable for 7 days after expiry while showing a renewal banner. After that, write access is paused; read access continues.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to handling stolen goods or evading taxes.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app, except as expressly permitted by law.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Use the Service in a way that could disable, overburden, or impair the servers.

6. Your data & responsibilities

You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of the records you enter into the Service. The Service is a tool — it does not certify the legality of any underlying pledge or loan. Compliance with local pawn-broking laws, KYC requirements, tax obligations, and any other regulatory regime remains entirely your responsibility.

You are solely responsible for backing up your data. We strongly recommend enabling Google Drive backup inside the app. We are not liable for data loss caused by lost / damaged devices, forgotten passwords, or your failure to enable backups.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including all source code, design, trademarks, and documentation, is the property of Naveen Kumawat. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own pawn-broking business during the subscription term.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, free from defects, or meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if there is suspected fraud, or if continuing service would violate applicable law.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
